The Iowa State Fair is proving fertile ground for electioneering this year with both Obama and Ryan in the Hawkeye state drumming up support. Obama seems to have gotten the better reception, while Ryan had to face down hecklers. Seems Barry has gotten into full campaign mode, while Good ol' Joe seems to have gotten Romney's goat once again. Hard to figure out Romney's thin skin. You think he would be up for the challenge after those feisty Republican primaries, but here he is whining like a child over Biden's comments. I have to say I liked Obama's comment about Romney driving a car with a windmill on it.

This just in!
ReplyDeleteRudy Giuliani on Wednesday questioned Joe Biden's "mental capacity" to lead, delivering a blistering attack against the vice president's competence one day after Biden made a controversial remark on the campaign trail.
"I mean, this guy just isn't bright. He's never been bright. He isn't bright," Giuliani, a Republican, said on CNBC. "And people think, `Well, he just talks a little too much.' Actually, he's just not very smart."
Rudi Giuliani claiming that someone "isn't bright" is just too rich for my blood.
Now that's funny. I still think it's Romney who isn't very bright -- but that's the Republican playbook right? Call the other one out on what you yourself are guilty of. Strange game they play.
ReplyDeleteI like Biden's style. I'm really looking forward to the VP debates.
All those gun analogies during the 2010 mid terms with Gabby Giffords ultimately taking a shot to the head, but ol' Joe mentions chains and the Republicans go wild.
